The Great East End Walk was a big success, thank you. The walkers have raised £27k in sponsorship so far and the fun day on London Fields raised over £4k! We were so lucky with the weather: hundreds of people came out, so thank you for all the promotion you did and always helping us to get the word out.

Sponsorship by Castles of young cricketers in Crouch End is now in its fourth year and North London Cricket Club is deeply grateful for this generous support. The club’s players competing in the Middlesex Development League proudly wear the Castles name on their chests in the competition that includes teams from all over London.
The exciting form of the game puts young cricketers together with more experienced seniors who mentor them in the finer points of competitive cricket during a game. The league, which is played in coloured ‘pyjama’ strip and with a pink ball, has proved very competitive and highly popular since its launch in 2013 and North London CC has enjoyed some success over the years.
Stephen Gardiner of North London CC said: “The support from Castles in Crouch End is essential to our youth development programme. Their sponsorship has made it possible for us to compete in a league that has become a main feature of our cricket season and we are indebted to Castles for their continued involvement with the club.”

Hi Alan and Mahe,
It was great to receive your sponsorship cheque today for the Light Up A Life refreshments! Thanks so much for dropping that off Alan, and for arranging the wine donations too. It’s all very gratefully received and I’ll make sure Roger and Michael also get a special thank you for their generosity.
I also wanted to get in touch with you both on Giving Tuesday to let you know about St Joseph’s Christmas Appeal, which we’ve just launched. Castles already provide such incredible support for St Joseph’s and it’s been wonderful to work with you this year. If you are able to please share news of our appeal with your colleagues and clients, we’d really appreciate it.

‘Hi Alan and Mahe,
Subject: Thank you
Thanks for coming to St Joseph’s yesterday, it was lovely to see you as always.
And thank you for the generous £200 donation. I know Beccy’s put a thank you letter in the post to share with the Castles team and the photo’s attached.
We’d love your help with promoting the Christmas Festival Concert on 16th December, thank you very much.
Thanks again for all your support, speak to you soon.
PS: A bit of good news just in: the Hospice gardens just won ‘Gold’ at the Hackney in Bloom Awards for Best Business Premises.
